Steps to send a Marketing cloud Email by using Triggered send in sales cloud

Note – First you have to enable the Triggered send in sales cloud.

Steps to Enable “Triggered Sends” in Sales Cloud

  1. Click on Setup >>> Customize >>> Triggers >>> Click on New eg. – Lead object – you have to write this code and Activate this Trigger.

  2. Click on Marketing Cloud tab >>> Configure Marketing Cloud Connector
  3. Edit Settings >>> Enabled Object (it is an object which you are using)
  4. Save Settings

Steps to send a Marketing Cloud Email by using Triggered send in Sales Cloud

  1. Click on Triggered send —> click on New button
  2. Enter the Name
  3. Choose the object whatever you want
  4. Choose the Recipient Lookup (for eg: lead object is leadId)
  5. Apply the Field Criteria
  6. Choose the Action Trigger to send when the record is created or updated like this
  7. Choose  the Business Unit
  8. Choose the Email which has to send(from the content builder)
  9. Subject is automatically populated
  10. Choose Send Classification
  11. Select the DataExtension
  12. Add subscribers to All Subscribers List(check this if you send an email to All Subscribers)
  13. Select the Send Time (a) – immediate(b)- Delayed
  14. Check the checkbox Name as ‘I certify all of these people will have opted in’
  15. Click on save button
  16. Click on Activate button
  17. When you create New record It will be fired (when the criteria meet your condition).

Advertising Studio in Marketing cloud

Advertising Studio –

Advertising Studio allows businesses to advertise on a one-to-one level, automating the transfer process from email to paid media to ensure your data is secure and up-to-date.

SUPPORTED SOCIAL AND AD NETWORKS – Attributes of subscribers are used to look up profiles on social networks when using Advertising Studio.

There are some social networks which are as follows –

  1. Facebook – email addresses and phone number are Accepted
  2. Instagram – email addresses and phone number are Accepted
  3. Twitter – email addresses and phone number are Accepted
  4. Google and Youtube – only Email addresses is Accepted.

Advertising Studio works with the following ad networks. This list also includes the attributes that each accepts for looking up users:

  • Krux: Email address and phone number
  • LiveRamp: Email address only
  • LiveIntent: Email address only
  • Neustar: Email address and phone number
  • Viant: Email address only

Steps to Create AUDIENCE –

  1. login in Marketing cloud Account
  2. click on Advertising Studio and choose Advertising Audiences
  3. click on the button Create Audience which is located at the top right corner
  4. enter the Audience Name
  5. choose Onboarding Partner
  6. Select any Value from the destination
  7. click Configure
  8. clicking on Configuration select a source for your audience
  9. click Activate
  10. you can setup Manually or schedule According to our requirements

How do I connect my Advertising Audiences account to Facebook or Instagram or any social networks?

  1. login in Marketing cloud Account
  2. click on Advertising Studio and choose Advertising Audiences
  3. Click on Administration tab at the top of the page
  4. click on the icon which is available on top of the page and login into the social network
  5. Select “Onboarding Partners” and select LiveIntent as a new onboarding partner. Read the terms, and click “accept” when you’re ready
  6. Click “Copy Key and Message” to send your social account manager your partner key.
