महाराष्ट्र सरकार द्वारा बुजुर्ग नागरिकों के लिए मुख्यमंत्री वयोश्री योजना (Mukhyamantri Vayoshri Yojana) की शुरुआत की गई है। इस योजना के तहत राज्य सरकार द्वारा बुजुर्ग नागरिकों को उनके दैनिक खर्च के लिए 3000 रूपये की मासिक आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की जाती है। इसके साथ-साथ अगर बुजुर्ग नागरिक किसी अपंगता से ग्रसित है तो उन्हें सुनने, देखने और चलने में मदद करने वाले उपकरण भी दिए जाते हैं। अगर बुजुर्ग नागरिक की उम्र 65 वर्ष है तो वह इस योजना  का लाभ उठा सकते हैं। इस योजना में आवेदन करने के लिए आवेदक के पास आधार कार्ड, स्व-घोषणा पत्र, पासपोर्ट साइज फोटो और बैंक पासबुक का होना जरूरी है।
